Some of you may know that I show and breed Pugs.  My goal is to improve the breed and provide the best quality Pugs I can.  That being said, as a breeder, I feel it is also my responsibility to actively participate in Rescue activities.  Good breeders don't produce rescue dogs.  Good breeders are responsible for their puppies for the life of the puppy.

The rescue Pugs may have issues and need very dedicated homes.  Some may need extended medical care.  All will be up to date on shots and spay/neutered.  If you feel you would like to take this on please go to: MN Pug Rescue . They all have a lot of love to give.

This is this month's featured Pug.

Kimmie - 3 yr old little girl

She's a bit like a plump little rosebud! She has a pretty sweet face.
Kimmie appears to have little/no vision in one eye- it was treated by the vet. I have ointment and drops for her, as well as antibiotics. Her vision in the other eye appears to be compromised as well, but it only seems to slow her down on night time walks and stairs.  She manages the steps off the back deck into the garden pretty well, but not so much in the house. Unfortunately, we have lots of stairs and live on all 3 floors of the house.
She does well enough with our 2 pugs (males ages 3 and 4) but is not socialized to play much.  Kimmie is very affectionate and appreciative of a good hug and scratch.  She is already following me around, but is a bit cautious of male voices.
She appears to have had no training- know no commands- it's hard to tell if she has been walked on a leash or her vision just slows her up.
Kimmie is a good eater- we started her on "wellness small breed adult" food and she seems to enjoy it.
Have not seen signs of being potty trained, but also have had good luck with her going outside with the other 2 dogs.
She is cautious but affectionate with me.  I think her vision keeps her from playing with the other dogs, so she would likely be best as a single dog in a quiet, one level home/apt with someone able to spend plenty of time
with her.

Adoption fee $350.00
